The Harmony Elementary School Gymnasium renovations encompassed a comprehensive reorganization of the back-of-house area, introducing new accessible group restroom facilities, a large storage room for athletic equipment, a dedicated storage room for after-school programs, and a private office for the physical education instructor equipped with its own restroom. Additionally, the project involved the full replacement of the existing gymnasium floor, addressing deteriorating structural girders, and reconstructing a set of settling exterior stairs. New structural framing was installed atop existing piers, complemented by a new athletic hardwood flooring system. Upgrades to the HVAC units and the replacement of the low-slope roof have extended the lifespan of this essential and frequently utilized facility.
